Brightwell Aquatics Defension-M is a premium strength marine fish conditioner designed to protect fish during handling, transport, and acclimation. Formulated with advanced non-acidic ingredients, Defension-M enhances the slime coat, soothes stress, and supports recovery from surface abrasions, all while being completely compatible with reef aquariums and invertebrate systems.

Unlike formulas that use aloe or cellulose compounds that can degrade in water and impact system stability, Defension-M provides clean, effective coverage that doesn't reduce water clarity or redox potential. It aids in reducing ammonia toxicity, supports immune health, and assists fish during bagging, water changes, or introduction to new systems.

For healing or stress relief:

1. Shake bottle before using.
   
   

2. Add 1 capful (5 ml) per 10 gallons.
   
   

3. Dose daily for up to 5 days.
   
   

4. May double dose for severe cases.
   
   

5. Adjust skimmer if foaming increases.
   
   

For bagging or transport:

6. Add ½ to 1 capful to fish bag, depending on size.

For water changes or new setups:

7. Add 1 capful per 10 gallons.

8. If using tap water, treat with Erāse-Cl first.

9. Confirm ammonia and chlorine are at 0 before continuing.

10. Once parameters are stable, add animals or water to aquarium.
