Brightwell Aquatics Erase-Cl is a professional-grade conditioner designed to remove harmful compounds like chlorine, chloramine, and ammonia from tap water or aquarium water. It's ideal for both freshwater and marine systems and helps ensure a clean, stable environment during water changes or system imbalances.

Erase-Cl also serves as an emergency response tool for accidental iodine overdoses, neutralizing free iodine that can harm corals, clams, and other invertebrates. Its powerful formulation can prevent long-term damage when added promptly during sudden water quality issues. It’s especially useful when adding new livestock, after heavy feedings, or during biological filtration disruptions.

This versatile conditioner is phosphate- and silicate-free, making it reef-compatible and effective for sensitive setups. Erase-Cl can also be used routinely to prepare new water or spot-treat tanks showing measurable ammonia. Directions 

To Treat Tap Water:

● Add 5 ml per 50 gallons.

● Neutralizes up to 6 ppm chlorine or 1 ppm ammonia.

To Treat Aquarium Water:

● Test ammonia using a salicylate-based kit.

● Add 5 ml per 50 gallons for each 1 ppm of ammonia.

● Wait 10 minutes and retest.

For Iodine Overdose:

● Add 10 ml per 40 gallons immediately.

● Dose in a high-flow area.

● Observe livestock for at least 15 minutes.

Testing Tip:

Use salicylate ammonia test kits only (Nessler’s kits give false readings).
