Brightwell Aquatics Refractometer Calibration Standard is a precision-blended solution used to accurately calibrate refractometers and hydrometers for measuring salinity in marine aquariums. Designed specifically for saltwater and reef aquarium applications, this calibration standard is set to 35 parts per thousand (ppt), the natural salinity level of seawater. Accurate salinity readings are essential for coral health, fish comfort, and stable water chemistry, and miscalibrated tools can lead to improper dosing or imbalanced parameters. This calibration fluid ensures your testing equipment is properly set, allowing you to confidently monitor and maintain salinity levels. Whether you're running a reef tank, fish-only system, or a mixed marine aquarium, this solution helps you dial in and trust your readings. Manufactured to exacting standards by Brightwell Aquatics, this is an essential maintenance tool for every saltwater hobbyist.
