Brightwell Aquatics Strontion is a premium ionic strontium supplement formulated to restore and maintain ideal strontium levels in reef aquariums. Strontium is a crucial element in the development of aragonite skeletons in corals, clams, and other invertebrates. Naturally present in seawater at around 8 ppm, strontium supports coral growth and may promote the formation of skeletal material through both biological and chemical processes.

Strontion is over 50% stronger than most competing products and contains no unnecessary organics or additives that can impact water chemistry. Maintaining strontium within the 8–12 ppm range ensures optimal conditions for calcifying invertebrates, especially in systems with strong lighting, high growth rates, or dense coral populations.

Strontion is made with purified water and pharmaceutical-grade ingredients, ensuring reliable results in SPS-dominant, LPS, mixed reef, and invertebrate-heavy aquariums. Used as part of a complete reef dosing routine, Strontion helps create a stable, vibrant environment for long-term success.

Basic Use:

1. Shake well before using.

2. Add 5 ml per 20 gallons every other day.

3. Maintain strontium between 8–12 ppm.

Advanced Use:

1. Test strontium levels before dosing.

2. Each ml increases 1 gallon by 8 ppm.

3. If [Sr2+] is low, add 10 ml per 20 gallons daily.

4. Try to keep levels within ±2 ppm.

5. For precise dosing:

● Measure daily decrease in [Sr2+].

● Divide by 8.

● Multiply by system volume = daily dose (ml).

6. Daily dosing ensures stability vs. weekly spikes.
